Summary
Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Superintendent, you manufacture the components using a digital lathe as well as milling machines, conventional lathes and related equipment and ensure manufacturing according to the plans and deadlines set.
Main tasks and Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets the manufacturing plans and specifications;
- Assembles, adjusts and calibrates the cutting tools according to specifications;
- Installs the cutting tools, mounts the parts on the tools machine;
- Makes the tools operational and adjusts;
- Performs the equipment programming and optimises equipment;
- Operates conventional lathe and milling machines;
- Inspects parts to ensure compliance and completes inspection reports;
- Provides effective solutions to improve parts or processes;
- Performs all other tasks for its smooth operation.
Profile and requirements
- Have a in machining techniques and/or an in machining on numerically controlled machine tools;
- Have 3 years of experience as a machinist and on operations and programming of numerically controlled machine tools;
- Like teamwork
- Be a good communicator;
- Pay attention to details and very thorough.
