Orbit Garant Drilling Inc. (TSX: OGD) (\u201cOrbit Garant\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d) today announced the retirement of Guthrie Stewart from the Company\u2019s Board of Directors, and the appointment of Paul Carmel as Chair of the Board of Directors, both effective immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Carmel, a mining engineer with more than 25 years of experience in industry and capital markets, was first elected to the Company\u2019s Board of Directors in 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am honoured to be appointed as Chair of the Board of Directors of Orbit Garant,\u201d said Mr. Carmel.  \u201cI look forward to continuing to work with the other members of the Board to ensure that Orbit Garant is the preferred choice for drilling services in the minerals industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Carmel replaces Mr. Stewart as Chair of the Board of Directors.  Mr. Stewart was a member of the Board of Directors since the Company\u2019s Initial Public Offering in 2008 and was appointed as Chair in 2010.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
