He is fully accountable for performance and productivity, always in a safe environment at the workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main tasks and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Supervises the driller helper;<\/li><li>Knows how to analyze plans and specifications;<\/li><li>Drills with the aid of an air or electric diamond drill;<\/li><li>Ensures proper operation of the drill controls;<\/li><li>Sees to equipment stock to be used;<\/li><li>Assists in the displacement and installation of the drill at the drilling site;<\/li><li>Conducts orientation tests inside the drill hole;<\/li><li>Respects and applies the Orbit Garant Drilling methods and procedures for Health and Safety;<\/li><li>Ensures maintenance of repairs to the drill;<\/li><li>Performs any other related tasks linked to the job.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Profile and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Have experience as a driller helper in diamond drilling;<\/li><li>Hold the Mining Worker Training Module 1-2-3-4-5-7;<\/li><li>Hold or be able to obtain a valid explosive permit;<\/li><li>Hold a valid driver&#8217;s licence;<\/li><li>Able to work as a team<\/li><li>Have good physical capacity and stamina;<\/li><li>Ability to adapt in an underground environment (heat, humidity, restricted access, dust);<\/li><li>Be comfortable and motivated in a production job.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Variable schedule<\/li><li>Day\/night shift;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Please note that in this document, the masculine form is used only to lighten the text&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-squared\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"recrutement@orbitgarant.com\">Apply<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Location :&nbsp;Val-d&#8217;Or, QCDate :&nbsp;October 07, 2019 Summary The underground driller works in constant collaboration with the underground drill helper to ensure proper drilling operations.
